About Us

The Lansing Harmony Celebration is a FREE family event that takes place this year on September 14th, 2019 starting at 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and is held in south Lansing’s Benjamin Davis Park.

The Lansing Harmony Celebration strives to bring positive energy to South Lansing via a celebration of the arts, crafts. customs and music of various cultures, their distinct lifestyles and, diverse culinary expressions. Lansing is a culturally rich community offering diverse and varied experiences cultivated by a sense of pride in our community. Our goal is to showcase these ideas to visitors and residents from across the State of Michigan.

We provide cultural art exhibits, childrens activities, dancing, live music, storytelling, face painting, local artists and vendors, cultural food of all types, and much, much more!

This project seeks to promote the development and rejuvenating of south Lansing. This objective is supported by the Keys to Creativity Project in coordination with the Capital Area District Library, the Lansing School District, the City of Lansing, the MSU Department of Advertising, Churchill Downs Community Association and, the Averill Woods Neighborhood Association.

Lansing Harmony Celebration (LHC) is organized and operated by a local group of Lansing citizens building exciting activities that increase the quality of life in and around the communities of South Lansing.
